Will my insurance cover home infusion and how much will it cost me?
Most insurance companies cover home infusion. If you choose Redline Pharmacy, we will verify that we are a contracted provider, that your therapy is covered, and estimate your out-of-pocket expenses based on your plan’s specific copays and deductible. You should know before you start how much it will cost.
Who will teach me how to administer my therapy? Our pharmacist in partnership with the home health nurse will teach you and/or your caregiver how to administer your therapy.
What do I do if there is a problem or emergency related to my home therapy?
Our pharmacists are on call 24 hours per day should any problems arise. The local home health agency is also available 24 hours per day.
Because we often provide medical equipment vital to the safe delivery of your treatment we need to be able to service that equipment if something goes wrong. Our service area is about 1 hour in every direction from Hastings. This provides us with a fast response time should a problem occur. However, we will consider serving patients outside of our main service area depending on the type and complexity of therapy needed.
